Falmouth Associations Concerned with Estuaries and Salt Ponds (FACES) will be holding its annual meeting on Thursday, August 2nd at 7 PM at the Boat House of the Waquoit Bay Estuarine Research Reserve (WBNERR) at 149 Waquoit HIghway (Rte. 28). The keynote speaker will be Alison Bowden, Freshwater Director of the Massachusetts Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. Her talk is entitled, 'Landscape to Seascape: Conserving River Herring in the Wild & Scenic Taunton River Watershed.' Alison Leschen, Director of WBNERR, will present results of a recent analysis of several years of PondWatch Data.
