On Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 10AM, Investigative Genealogist, Sharon Sergeant, will speak on a special branch of genealogy involving the pursuit of information regarding living persons. Ms. Sergeant will demonstrate techniques she uses to identify and locate heirs to estates. She will also discuss her work in identifying birth parents for adoptees. Another service in which she has considerable experience is the reuniting of family branches separated by war or economic hardship. This talk will be of interest to those conducting traditional genealogical research as well as those having brick walls or gaps within their family’s most recent generations.
