The 300 Committee Bird and Nature Walk is hosting a Full Moon Woodcock Walk on Saturday, March 19th and Sunday, March 2oth, at 7pm, to observe the annual American Woodcock's courtship rituals. The male woodcocks strut, call and then rocket up into the air in a spiraling pattern and then zig-zag back to the ground and hopefully to gain the attention of a female woodcock!
Please remember to dress for the weather and bring a flashlight and binoculars if you can.
The walk will be canceled in the event of rain.
