Growing Green: Gardening and other green fun stuff for families

Hands-on activities for kids, information for adults and things for families to plan and do together, geared to helping us all be a little more “green.” Participants include Nicole Goldman of  ‘g’ Green Design Center in Mashpee who will demonstrate cool ways to compost and recycle, and the Compost Guys will present lots of ways to have a chemical-free yard. Kids will have the opportunity to start their own lettuce and herb plants from seed, crafts and games using recycled materials will keep everyone engaged and more to see and do. $10 per family/member families $5; information at www.highfieldhall.org or 508-495-1878.
