Heather is a an acclaimed and fully certified henna artist. She has presented workshops across New England and the east coast of the United States. Her elaborate henna work has been displayed at well-respected galleries such as The Rhode Island School of Design and the Slough Museum in the United Kingdom.
During the 3-hour workshop, participants will learn about the history and significance of henna, and have a design expertly applied by Heather! The henna design can be one’s own creation, traditional, or a contemporary design by Heather. Henna, also known as mehndi, is temporary and will fade away in a week to ten days. A fun Bollywood movie will be running while participants await their henna session. This workshop is FREE, thanks to generous support from the Trustees of the Falmouth Public Library.
