Learn to Play Chinese Mahjong

With Linda Falstein.

Mahjong, a rummy-like game played with beautiful tiles, is the national game of China, sometimes called the Chinese Game of the Four Winds. It is fun to play, easy to learn, and can be played at many levels. Most people in the United States play a version called “American” mahjong, in which a card is printed every year indicating the “special winning hands” for that year.  In Chinese Mahjong, there is just one configuration of tiles that makes up a winning mahjong hand. This makes the Chinese version easier to learn. And you don’t need to buy one of those cards to take this class! Call Ms. Falstein for more information at 508-563-3645. The cost is $20 per person, which includes all four sessions. Please register by March 5.
