Nature Did it First! Free Program for Grades K-3

Are you wondering what to do with the other half of a half school day?  Molly Cornell will be hosting a free interactive program for children (Kindergarten to Grade 3) to learn how humans have copied things found in nature; such as observing how the hard shell of a turtle protects the soft animal inside and making a suit of armor will do the same for a man.  There will be hands-on samples available for the children to examine and open discussion to encourage then to think of more examples.  This fun and informal course will help to pique childrens' curiosity about the natural world around them and help them to appreciate how amazing nature can be.
