Dan Gallagher will be talking about OpenCape and devoting most of his time to questions from the public and press. OpenCape is the new fiber optic/microwave network being built on the Cape & The Islands right now.
In Falmouth the libraries (Falmouth, East Falmouth, Woods Hole and West Falmouth), town buildings and science organizations in Woods Hole will be connected. The project is supposed to completed by the end of the year.
He will be here Tuesday, March 6 from 7 to 8PM in the Hermann Room at the Falmouth Public Library.
