Artwork by Mary Lou Gitlitz and Gloria Warren will be on display in the Maser Gallery at Falmouth Community Television from June 3 through June 28. ALL PIECES FOR SALE!
Gloria Warren found that her retirement was the perfect time to investigate the art world. She found a lot of satisfaction in producing art and, as an added benefit, met a wonderful group of fellow artists. In charge of the Monday Morning Painters for the Falmouth Art Center for the summer, Gloria finds that painting with others really helps in developing the craft.
“I have experimented with the various mediums and have decided that pastels are for me (for the moment),” says Gloria. “I like the feel and textures of the medium, the ability to make constant changes, and scrub off what is not working. It’s also an opportunity to enjoy nature and the beautiful landscape of Cape Cod.”
