Relief Printmaking Workshop

Water-based inks and polystyrene (foam)plates are a non-toxic, easy way to create unique prints without a press. Demonstrations include making the plates, ink roll-up and application, and transferring the images to paper by hand.  

We build complex and textured images through layering multiple plates and experimenting with the qualities of transparent and opaque inks.  

Develop a related series of unique prints.  Workshop ends with critique and discussion.

Open to all levels.
