Ayoy and Avast ye buccaneers and wenches! Come n' feast like pirate kings under the Pavilion overlooking thar rolling green waves at Coonamessett Farm. Aargh! Come listen to the bawdy songs of old sea farers delivered by the Rum Soaked Crooks and Morgan Rattler, and dress like a pirate yerself if ye dare! We've slashed the price for the 3rd Annual Sea Chantey at Coonamessett Farm, and added more to the meal and made it Carribbean to boot!
Get thy hands on more than a dozen dishes in our buffet plus grilled meats and deep-water Sippewissett Oysters. Caribbean fare, Aye! -- jerk loin of pork with mango sauce, seasoned roast Pollo with Mojo sauce, shrimp in coconut crème, oyster pie, congri, callaloo, pepper pot soup, clam chowder, fried plantains, festival dumplings, batata pudding, ginger beer, and what ye scurvy lads can never get at sea: several farm-fresh salads. Eat thy view, or walk the plank! $24.95 for adults (which includes the two oysters) and $15.95 for kids (4-11).
And there's more -- From 5 to 8 pm your ticket will let ye beyond the cafe, store and pavilion into the Farm (usually $8 admission) to explore and pick thy own green and red treasures (and pay by the pound, aye!) and see the animals that would thrill any seafarer: our horned tortoise from Africa, our Nigerian goats (some born just weeks ago), alpacas, Mediterranean donkies, babydoll southdown sheep, bunnies, chickens of several sorts, etc. etc. Aye!
