Josh Leveque, local landscaper and horticulturalist, will present a program “Best Practices of Seed Starting” at the Woods Hole Public Library on Wednesday, March 30, at 7:15 PM. Josh will talk about the key points for success with seed starting, addressing issues of soil, seed choice, planting, germination and fertilization. He will discuss common problems and give recommendations for setting up lights at home. He notes that this will be a hands-on workshop and adds “The audience should expect to get their hands dirty!”
After the workshop a few lucky people will be allowed to nurture their seedlings for eventual sale at the Library’s annual plant sale in May.
The program is open to the public, though the number of participants is limited. Interested people should call the Library at 508-548-8961 to register.
