Syndicate formed from the remnants of the band ‘Last Cry’, when Jeff asked his old bandmate Rich to start up a new cover band, to pay for studio time. First order of business, winning the “Cape’s Most Dangerous Band” competition. Which we did.
Since then, Syndicate has recorded 2-3 cd’s worth of material. Released a self-titled CD in 2001, which spawned a 9-week tour of Brazil in August – October of 2001. And a suprise single,”Hey Girl”, that went #6, six months later, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, a city of millions.
At different points, the band has been all original, all cover, or a mix. We’ve performed with many national acts: Tone Loc, Quiet Riot, Great White, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Extreme, Gloria Gaynor, Hootie & The Blowfish, Zakk Wyde, Blessed Union of Souls, Warrant, Slash, even the guy that liked girls that wore “Abercrombie & Fitch”, whose name we cannot recall. The list goes on…Today we’re primarily a cover band, playing 7 nights a week in many different forms, from acoustic to full band. We use different lead singers on different nights. We can adjust to any room, any size, at any volume, for any occasion, with any number of members. We’ve been around for awhile. We know what we’re doing. And we’ll see you tonight!
