The Great American Songbook: A Concert with Ted Jellinek and the Cape Cod All-Star Jazz Band (Falmouth Jewish Congregation Summer Series)

The Falmouth Jewish Congregation 2012 Summer Series opens with a concert of music from the Great American Songbook with Ted Jellinek and his Cape Cod Jazz All-Stars. Enjoy complimentary refreshments, seating at tables, and dancing to the music of Gershwin, Berlin, and Ellington.

The evening's musicians come from the Cape's great jazz scene:

• Steve Ahern:    jazz trumpeter who keeps a busy musical schedule in both Florida and Cape Cod
• Bob Higgins:   vocalist of jazz standards and Irish songs
• Laird Boles:    perhaps the most in-demand jazz bass player on the Cape
• Bart Weisman:   outstanding drummer and jazz impresario, who has re-invigorated Cape Cod jazz; also leads a klezmer ensemble
•  Ted Jellinek, jazz pianist
