The Upper Cape Through The Artists Eye" Spectacular Sites and Scenes of Bourne, Mashpee, Sandwich, Cotuit, Marstons Mills and Falmouth

June 14 through September 4, 2012 at Woodruff's Art Center in Mashpee Commons a group artist exhibition will be on view entitled "The Upper Cape Through The Artists Eye". A reception will be held on Thursday, June 14th from 6-8pm.

 

Explore the many interesting structures and fantastic views found on the Upper Cape through the eyes of this diverse group of local artists. At this exhibit you will find the new Mashpee Public Library illustrated in watercolor, Falmouth landscapes portrayed in painterly oils, a Sandwich vista expressed on wood, a Bourne historical site captured in a crisp colored photograph, John's Pond interpreted in collage, an ethereal acrylic of Marstons Mills woods and Pocasset portrayed in pastels to name a few.

All of the artists exhibiting are from the Upper Cape. They are James Musto, Linda Walker, Chris O'Dell Ferguson, Anne Hitch, Lisa Horton, Leo Lechtenberg, Cecilia Capitanio, Rob Vinciguerra, Cynthia Cruz, Amy Rice, Gayle Olsson, Ned Manter, David Kelley and Candice Ronesi.
