Falmouth Bicycle vs. Car Crash: Teen Medflighted
A 19-year-old Falmouth teenager cycling on Palmer Avenue was seriously hurt after he collided with a car, police said.

A Falmouth teenager bicycling on Palmer Avenue Tuesday afternoon was seriously hurt when he collided with a car, police said.
The 19-year-old male suffered head trauma and was medflighted to a Boston-area hospital.
Police said the crash happened at about 2 p.m. in the area of 620 Palmer Ave. in front of Cape Cod Hand Therapy. Witnesses said the teen was riding on a sidewalk but suddenly veered into traffic and was struck by a Toyota Corolla traveling in the same direction. The impact tossed the teen 40 feet, police said.

The driver of the Corolla was a 71-year-old Falmouth woman. She was not hurt.
Police said an investigation is ongoing.
