Falmouth Bikeways Committee Seeks Your Suggestion for Safety Vest

Good with words? Frustrated while walking or bicycling on the Shining Sea Bikeway by those who pass and don't give a signal or space? Tomorrow is your last opportunity to submit your entry for wording for safety vests that can be worn by pedestrians or bicyclists to alert those passing to give a wide berth and an audible signal. As part of its educational campaign to improve transportation for all users, the Bike Committee is undertaking this safety vest project in cooperation with Howling Bird Studios. Once we have our slogan, Howlingbird Studio will print it on the back of the vests and we will begin taking orders. But first the competition: come up with a pithy (brief!) slogan and submit it to the committee at falmouthbikewayscomm@gmail.com. The committee will select the slogan and the winner of the “competition” will receive a safety vest as a reward for his/her ingenuity. Deadline for submissions is November 6.
