Steamship Authority Lot Fire Decimates Bus, Damages 14 Vehicles

FALMOUTH, MA – A fast-moving fire at the Steamship Authority lot decimated a bus and damaged 14 other vehicles. The Falmouth Fire Department said there were no injuries, and the fire does not appear suspicious.

Crews arrived shortly before noon to find a full-sized bus engulfed in flames. The fire was quickly spreading to nearby vehicles. Fire crews quickly went on the offensive.

The Mashpee and Cotuit Fire Departments provided station coverage in Falmouth.
