Falmouth Christmas Parade, Holidays By The Sea Schedule

The chamber of commerce will host a series of holiday events this weekend, culminating in the annual parade on Sunday.

FALMOUTH, MA – The Falmouth Chamber of Commerce will host a series of Holidays by the Sea events this weekend, culminating in the annual Christmas parade on Sunday, Dec. 9. The celebration kicks off with caroling at the Nobska Lighthouse and includes visits from Santa Claus, a festive 5K, holiday lights and more.

Caroling at Nobska Lighthouse

Seafaring Santa

Welcome Seafaring Santa and the Falmouth High School Chorus at The Flying Bridge on Scranton Avenue. Santa will greet the kids and pass out Candy Canes before heading to the Nobska Lighthouse.

Falmouth Village Holiday Stroll

Saturday, December 8, 2018, 5:00 - 9:00 pm; Main Street / Queen’s Buyway, Falmouth Village

Enjoy the unique shops, services and restaurants in the heart of Falmouth Village, which will be transformed at night by the annual Holiday Stroll. The street and storefronts will be decorated for the holidays, and many of the merchants will offer snacks and refreshments.

The petting zoo is back at Queens Buyway. Don't miss Santa at the inflatable North Pole at Peg Noonan Park – Bear in Boots will be there with a sweet treat.

The Falmouth EDIC will host caroling and refreshments at the renovated Falmouth Station (bus depot). The street will be closed again this year, so be aware that parking is available at Mullen Hall and Lawrence School, where the trolley will stop while running from Peg Noonan to Queens Buyway.

Lighting of the Village Green

The Falmouth Brass Choir will lead the caroling before a special visit from Santa as the town lights up the green. Dress warmly.

55th Annual Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade, Theme: Unwrap the Magic of Falmouth

Sunday, December 9, 2018, noon; Main Street, Dillingham Avenue to the Falmouth Village Green

The parade steps off from Dillingham Avenue at noon and continues down Main Street to the Village Green. It will feature theme-decorated floats, marching bands, live animals, costumed characters and Santa Claus.
