Falmouth Clam Shack Returning This Week Under New Management
The Clam Shack was thought to be closed for good after longtime owner James Limberakis retired last year.
FALMOUTH, MA — The Clam Shack on Falmouth Harbor has a new lease on life, and it's reopening this week. The decades-old restaurant was thought to be closed for good after longtime owner James Limberakis announced his retirement last summer.
It's now under new management – James Murray, former Nimrod owner, the Falmouth Enterprise reported in March. According to a post on a local Facebook page, the Clam Shack is set to open Friday, May 24.
Murray told the Enterprise the menu will stay the same. He plans to open on weekends from Memorial Day weekend until summer vacation and then open seven days a week until the start of school.
