Falmouth Crash Takes Down Wires, Closes Acapesket Road

FALMOUTH, MA — A single car crash is forcing detours from Acapesket Road, which has been closed to thru traffic, Falmouth police said.

A driver crashed into a utility pole on the road, resulting in downed wires on the roadway, Falmouth police said.

Police have yet to provide an update but, as of early Thursday morning, said Eversource was on the scene working to replace the pole.
