FALMOUTH, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.
This submission comes from Larry Bigelow, who nominated his colleague Kerin Delaney, the Executive Director of the Falmouth Service Center, a nonprofit that's helped people get food during the new coronavirus crisis.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
When the Long-time Executive Director of the Falmouth Service Center(FSC) left on an unexpected medical leave, Kerin stepped up quickly from her No. 2 position there to take the reins of the entire multi-service program. She has worked tirelessly and efficiently in not only maintaining but also increasing the volume and scope of food distribution and related services to our hundreds of clients.

During this unprecedented Covid-19 crisis, her calm demeanor, collaborative efforts, and communication skills have played a key part in the continuation of our multitude of services
