Falmouth High School Searched for Drugs

A K-9 unit searched Falmouth High School for drugs this morning.

FALMOUTH, MA — A K-9 unit searched Falmouth High School for drugs Thursday and came up empty.

The search was conducted at about 9:30 a.m., police said. The school was placed in lockdown mode for an hour as officers and the Barnstable County Sheriff's Department K-9 unit searched the premises.

"We are very pleased to report that no drugs were found in the school," police said in a statement. "We commend the school staff and students for their cooperation."
