The Heritage Award will be presented to the VNA of Cape Cod on April 24.

The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Cape Cod will be recognized by the Falmouth Historical Society on April 24 with the 13th Annual Heritage Award at a dinner at the in North Falmouth.
The Heritage Award is presented each year to a group or individual who has provided exceptional services to the town of Falmouth and to the region. The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Cape Cod began in Falmouth in 1916 and has provided comprehensive home health and hospice services that has enabled individuals – from newborns to the elderly – to receive care in the privacy and comfort of their own homes for more than 96 years.
Starting with one nurse on a bicycle in Woods Hole, the Falmouth Nursing Association (original name) has grown to become part of the larger organization, the VNA of Cape Cod, which now serves patients and families from Provincetown to Plymouth and beyond.
