Falmouth Lacrosse Works to Beat Plymouth North

Falmouth boys lacrosse visits Plymouth North and wins, 11-8.

The Falmouth Clippers worked hard to beat Plymouth North at Forge Field in Plymouth Tuesday. North gave Falmouth a good, hard-hitting game on the wet, slippery field.

Falmouth had the lead in the beginning of the game, but after halftime, the Plymouth team got its second wind and scored some goals. They couldn't seem to get the score tied, but at times they came close.

Falmouth's Cyrus Wickersham and Damien Reid were in on net quite often with lots of help from Devon Hill, James Nigri and Matt Whited. Goalie Joe Meloni took a couple of chances bringing the ball up the field to put it in play, but he mostly stood fast in the net to keep the Clippers in the game. The boys from the Cape showed great passing skills to get the ball into the center and score. The final tally was 11-8, Falmouth.
