Falmouth Man Charged With Trafficking Fentanyl

Officers were on their way to search the man's home, when they saw him conducting a drug deal in his car, outside his home, police said.

FALMOUTH, MA — A Falmouth man was arrested Wednesday after police said he was caught with 26 grams of fentanyl.

Ronald Renaud, 43, was charged with trafficking and distribution of a class A substance (fentanyl), possession of a class E substance (steroids) and conspiracy to violate substance abuse laws.

Renaud was the subject of a joint investigation conducted by the DEA, Falmouth police and Massachusetts Sate Police. Officers were on their way to search Renaud's home, when they saw him conducting a drug deal in his car, outside his home, police said.

Police said they then detained Renaud, searched his home and found 26 grams of fentanyl, $1,959 in cash, steroids, Suboxone and drug packaging materials.
