Falmouth Man Flushes Drugs Down Toilet During Raid: Police
Herman Andrade was arrested on Columbus Drive this week.

Police said a Falmouth man locked himself in a bathroom and flushed narcotics down the toilet as officers raided his residence Wednesday.
Herman Andrade, 36, was arrested and charged with a host of crimes.
Police said on Wednesday at about 8:15 p.m., officers executed an arrest warrant at 21 Columbus Dr., where Andrade was staying. Andrade was wanted on a larceny charge.

When he heard the officers, Andrade tried to escape through a rear bedroom window but rushed back inside when he saw officers surrounding the residence, police said. He then locked himself in a bathroom and flushed narcotics down the toilet, police said. He then allegedly struggled with officers before being taken into custody.
Police said one officer suffered a “minor” arm injury.

Andrade was charged with drug possession, resisting arrest, and destruction of property.
