Falmouth Man Hit Woman, Resisted Arrest: Police
Devon Pelrine, of Falmouth, was charged with assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
FALMOUTH, MA — A Falmouth man was arrested Wednesday on charges he hit a woman then resisted arrest, according to police. Devon Pelrine, 20, was charged with assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Police said the incident happened Wednesday night at an apartment complex on the Teaticket Highway.
Police said officers responded to the residence for a report of a fight.
"When officers made contact with one of the involved parties, Devon Pelrine ... became disorderly and resisted arrest," Falmouth police said in a statement. "During the investigation police also learned that Pelrine had struck a female."
