The 26-year-old is accused of intentionally setting fires at the construction site of the new Hyannis fire station over the summer.

FALMOUTH, MA – A Falmouth man has been indicted on arson charges in connection with fires at the Hyannis fire station construction site last summer. Allen Beckwith, 26, has been charged with three counts of arson of a dwelling and one count of breaking and entering at night with intent to commit a felony.
Beckwith is accused of lighting fires in an excavator and two mobile offices on Aug. 29, according to police.
Officers responded to the site on High School Road around 12:20 a.m. that day and found the excavator "fully engulfed in flames," Barnstable police said in a statement. They also found two smaller fires under temporary office trailers.
