Falmouth Man Injured After Getting Trapped Under His SUV
Falmouth police said a 26-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries in a roll-over crash on Route 28. Speed and weather were factors.
FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth police officers and firefighters rescued a man who got trapped under his SUV following a roll-over crash.
Police said the crash happened around 2 a.m., Monday, near the intersection of Route 28 and Judy Ann Drive. Officials found a 26-year-old East Falmouth man screaming for help, while he was trapped under his GMC Envoy.
Police said Officers Christopher Livingston, Joshua Oliver, Stephen Senior and Tyler Narbonne lifted the SUV high enough to relieve pressure on the driver and allow a firefighter to pull the man out from underneath the vehicle.

The man suffered life-threatening injuries, according to police. He was treated at the scene and rushed to Falmouth Hospital. Police said because of the weather, a medical flight wasn't available. He was later taken to a medical facility outside Cape Cod.
Police said the crash happened when the man was speeding on a wet Route 28 and lost control of his SUV. After the driver lost control, police said the SUV left the road and rolled over.
