Falmouth Menauhant Road Bridge To Close Temporarily: Here's When
The closure is related to an Eversource electrical project that's ongoing in Falmouth, officials said.
FALMOUTH, MA — An Eversource electrical project will require the Menauhant Road bridge to be closed on a few upcoming days, Falmouth officials announced.
The company will be installing approximately 1,080 linear feet of electric conduit in Menauhant Road, between Acapesket Road and Green Harbor Road, officials said. Work began on Tuesday, and is expected to last until Feb. 17.
The bridge closure wasn't an expected outcome, however.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Menauhant Road bridge must be closed temporarily to install manholes," Falmouth officials said.
The bridge will be closed on the following days:

- Thursday, Jan. 26: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Tuesday, Jan. 31: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Thursday, Feb. 2: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Construction will be limited to Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., but traffic delays are still expected. Traffic control measures will be in place.
Town officials said a full lane pavement replacement will be done once the job is complete.
