Falmouth Police To Conduct Underage Alcohol Checks
The checks will ensure bars, restaurants and liquor stores are carding customers when they buy alcohol.
FALMOUTH, MA — The Falmouth Police Department on Monday announced the start of alcohol compliance checks in the town. It will be conducting Minimum Age Purchase Law Compliance Checks, as well as Administrative Compliance Checks at all licensed establishments.
This could consist of using an "underage operative" to buy alcohol, monitoring businesses for underage activity and making sure businesses have permits and ABCC paperwork properly posted, police said.
Checks will happen through the remainder of the year. Any questions should be directed to Lt. Douglas Decosta or Sergeant Michael Simoneau at the Falmouth Police Station, 774-255-4527.
