Falmouth Police Nab Middleborough Armed Robbery Suspect After Chase
A man charged with committing an armed robbery at a Middleborough gas station was eventually arrested in Falmouth on Tuesday.
MIDDLEBOROUGH, MA — Falmouth police officers played a crucial role in apprehending a man charged with armed robbery in Middleborough, officials said.
Middleborough Police Chief Joseph Perkins thanks Falmouth and State Police officials for their help in arresting Own Lang, 20, of Kingston.
At about 5:07 p.m., a man wearing all-black clothing entered the Sunoco Mart at 157 Main St. The man reached over the counter and grabbed money, police said.

The store clerk said the man might have had a knife.
After reviewing surveillance video, police put on a be-on-the-lookout alert for a gray Ford Ranger driven by a man wearing all-black clothing, who would later be identified as Lang.

Around 9 p.m., Massachusetts State Police witnessed a Ford Ranger driven by a man matching Lang’s description along Route 25 near Falmouth.
Lang didn't immediately stop for law enforcement officials, but was eventually arrested by Falmouth Police.
Officials said Lang could face additional charges related to that chase, but that would be up to the other two offices to file.
Lang was brought back to Middleborough and then transported to the Plymouth County House of Correction, where he awaits arraignment.
