Falmouth Select Board Meeting Preview

On the docket are committee appointments and an approval for a letter of support for Massachusetts Clean Water Trust funding.

FALMOUTH, MA — The Select Board will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday with a wide-ranging list of agenda items.

Among them are a number of committee appointments, an anticipated letter of approval to the state legislature and a preliminary discussion about 2024 budget priorities.

Committee Interviews

The Select Board will interview, vote on and appoint candidates to three committees.

Kate Soltesz is the only candidate for the Human Services Committee; Jon Modelevsky and Geralyn Schad will be interviewed for the Beach Committee; and the board will vote on whether to appoint Kimberly Fish to the Barnstable County HOME Consortium Advisory Council.

Massachusetts Clean Water Trust

The board will approve a letter to the Massachusetts legislature in support of Gov. Charlie Baker's $200 million budget proposal for the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust. The money would, at least in part, be used to fund water pollution abatement projects on Cape Cod and the Islands.
