Falmouth Selectmen Approve Medical Pot Dispensary
Selectmen approval is a key step in the shop's development on Teaticket Highway.

FALMOUTH, MA – The board of selectmen last week approved a host community agreement for a medical marijuana dispensary in Falmouth, according to the Falmouth Enterprise. Massachusetts-based Nature's Remedy, which has shops in Lakeville and Millbury, is looking to open a dispensary at 31 Teaticket Highway.
The agreement means Falmouth would receive 3 percent of the dispensary's annual sales – between $150,000 and $300,000 – for a maximum of five years, the Enterprise reported. The town can renegotiate after five years.
Selectmen also elected to send a letter of support to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. The board's support is a key step in the dispensary's development, though it still must receive state approval and approval from the planning board and other local departments.
