Falmouth Sex Offender Released from Jail

A Falmouth sex offender was recently released from jail, police said.

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth police on Thursday issued an alert for a sex offender recently released from jail.

Robert Pacheco, 62, of 54 Cedar St., was convicted of raping a child in 1994 and assault with intent to commit rape in 1978.

He’s a Level 3 sex offender—the most dangerous classification for sex offenders at a “high risk to reoffend.” Police said they issued the alert in the interest of public safety.

Pacheco is not wanted by police and it’s illegal to use this information to commit a crime.
