Falmouth Store Allowed To Reopen After Truck Hits Building
The driver of a pickup truck struck a storefront in Falmouth this week, causing damage but no injuries.
FALMOUTH, MA — A Falmouth store was allowed to reopen after a pickup truck struck the building this week.
Fire and rescue officials said the truck struck the building at 350 East Falmouth Highway, causing "significant damage to a load-bearing exterior wall."
The building has two businesses, a grocery store and a paint store, officials said. The occupants of the grocery store were evacuated, and the paint store was closed at the time of the crash.

The vehicle operator was evaluated for injuries and refused care and transport, officials said.
Town of Falmouth Inspectional Services were contacted to inspect the damage. The grocery store was allowed to reopen, but the paint store will remain closed until temporary repairs can be made.
