Falmouth Walks Over Plymouth North Boys Lacrosse
It was Falmouth 11, Plymouth North 9 in boys high school lacrosse in Falmouth.
The Falmouth Clippers boys varsity lacrosse team played an outstanding game against Plymouth North on Thursday.
At the outset, the Clippers managed to keep the ball in their opponents' end for most of the first half. It looked like Falmouth would dominate play and the score would be very one-sided, but Plymouth North made some changes at halftime to resuscitate its game.
Bringing the score back into a closer range, Plymouth showed signs of a major comeback in the second half. Falmouth was not going to put up with that, however, and continued to fight hard and kept the score up, which made for a great game to watch.

Goalie Jo Meloni kept the Clippers in the game with great goaltending. James Negri, Matt Whited, Damien Ried, Cyrus Wickersham and Devin Hill all played a hard-hitting game. The passing was quick and precise, at times running Plymouth all over the field.
