Falmouth Weekend Holiday Events Prompt Parking Ban, Road Closures
Saturday's Holidays By The Sea weekend and Sunday's Christmas Parade will cause temporary changes for drivers. What to know.
FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth will be abuzz this weekend with annual holiday events spreading cheer throughout town.
But with that comes some necessary traffic and parking changes in areas of Falmouth.
Falmouth's Holidays By The Sea holiday stroll and tree lighting is scheduled for Saturday on Main Street. This means Main Street will be closed from 1 to 9 p.m. from Shore Street to Hewins Street at the Falmouth Town Green.

Police said the towing of vehicles will start at 1:15 p.m.
On Sunday, Falmouth will host the 60th annual Christmas Parade. The parade route will be closed to traffic at 11:45 a.m., and there is no parking on any road along the route.

Vehicles parked along the route will be towed starting at 10 a.m.
Police said Dillingham Avenue between Davis Straits and Gifford Street will be closed to all traffic at 8 a.m.
Davis Straits from Jones Road to Falmouth Heights Road and Main Street will be closed at 11:45 a.m. Northbound traffic on Davis Straits between Dillingham Avenue and Jones Road will be permitted.
