Falmouth's Sea Crest Beach Hotel Sold For Over $50 Million
Two hospitality investment companies, HHM and Certares, partnered to purchase the beachfront hotel, according to the companies.
FALMOUTH, MA — A beachfront Cape Cod hotel has sold for over $50 million, according to two companies who purchased the property.
Sea Crest Beach Hotel was purchased for the second time since 2016 by the hospitality investment groups HHS and Certares.
The Falmouth Enterprise first reported the final sale price of just under $54 million.

According to a news release from the companies, the recently renovated hotel includes 263 rooms and sits on over 700 feet of private beach along Buzzards Bay in Falmouth.
“We are excited to add this irreplaceable, historic asset to our growing portfolio, as well as continuing our investment partnership with HHM. This resort is truly unique in New England due to its proximity to Boston, expansiveness of beachfront real estate, and one-of-a-kind sunset views on the East Coast,” said Nolan Hecht, Senior Managing Director at Certares.

“The Sea Crest has an almost 100-year old history as a premier leisure destination and community mainstay within the Boston area, and we look forward to owning an asset with such a strong local and regional presence,” said Mike Kusy, Director at Certares.
The resort will fall within HHM's Independent Collection of hotels and resorts, the news release said.
“We are delighted to invest alongside Certares and to continue our focus on adding guest experiences, new amenities, and even capital improvements to an already great beach hotel,” said HHM President & CEO Naveen Kakarla.
