Sea Stars Early Learning Center offers a balanced program that incorporates play-based learning, structured lessons, and physical activities. Children are encouraged to explore their interests, whether through music, art, science, or outdoor exploration. There’s a focus on developmental milestones, including fine motor skills, communication, and social interaction. The facility focuses on helping children develop strong social skills through group activities, games, and cooperative learning. There’s an emphasis on emotional intelligence, teaching kids how to manage their feelings and resolve conflicts peacefully. Our amazing helps kids learn to share, collaborate, and support one another, fostering a sense of community. The facility embraces children from all backgrounds and is sensitive to cultural differences, making sure all children feel accepted and valued. The facility features a large, secure outdoor play area with age-appropriate equipment. Children spend plenty of time outdoors, engaging in physical play and exploring nature. There may also be gardening activities. The building is designed with child safety in mind, featuring soft corners, non-toxic materials, and secure fencing around outdoor areas. Access points are monitored and locked to ensure only authorized individuals can enter. There’s a first aid kit and trained staff on hand at all times to handle any emergencies. The classrooms and play areas are spotless, with an abundance of natural light streaming in through large windows. The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children. There’s a cozy reading nook, art stations, and sensory play areas where kids can explore their creativity. Our staff is certified in child development, first aid, and CPR, but they also have a genuine passion for working with children. Melissa Anderson and Leigh-Ellen Ferreira are two Falmouth natives who have spent many years working with children.

Hyannis Arts Hall presents premiere Robin Williams impersonator Roger Kabler on stage on Saturday, July 11 at 7 pm for an unforgettable tribute to the legendary funny man and human whirlwind Robin Williams. Beloved for his ability to touch hearts with his soulful film performances as well as his lightning-fast character shifts, uncanny mimicry, and fearless flights of absurdity, Robin Williams remains one of comedy’s most beloved figures. Actor-comedian Roger Kabler pays tribute in this one-man show to the great Robin Williams, delighting audiences with his impressions of Hollywood greats. Tickets are available on eventbrite.com for $35 general admission including fees. Supporter tickets are $100 Including fees. Tickets at the door are $40. Recommended for mature audiences. Doors will open an hour before the performance, with beer, wine, nonalcoholic beverages, and snacks available for purchase. A showing of the documentary film Being Robin, which chronicles Kabler's embrace of Williams and his own struggles with mental health, follows on Sunday, July 12 at 2 pm. Donations requested at the door. is part of the 501[c]3 nonprofit Hyannis Arts &amp; Film, along with Hyannis Film Festival and Hyannis Arts &amp; Flea. The organization is devoted to bringing the performing arts and culture to Hyannis and Cape Cod, to boost the local economy. The hall also offers space for public celebrations and meetings.
