Fatal Crash In Falmouth
Adam Colter, 54, of Mashpee, was killed after his car struck a tree in Falmouth on Ostrom Road, police said.
FALMOUTH, MA — A man was killed in a car crash in Falmouth Wednesday night, police said. The victim was identified as Adam Colter, 54, of Mashpee.
Police said Colter was driving a sport utility vehicle at about 9 p.m. when — for unknown reasons — he veered off road road and slammed into tree.
"What is known is that the vehicle was (traveling) north-easterly on Ostrom (Road) when the operator failed to negotiate a curve to the left," police said in a statement. "The vehicle (traveled) straight at the curve and struck the tree head-on."
