Fire At All Cape Recycling Facility Contained By Falmouth Crews
A fire in a mulch pile could have spread to a pile of unprocessed logs, but crews were able to knock it down before it got out of hand.
FALMOUTH, MA — A Monday morning fire threatened to get out of hand, but Falmouth fire crews were able to knock it down before it spread, officials said.
A caller reported a possible fire at the All Cape Recycling Facility around 5:30 a.m. on Monday morning, according to officials.
First arriving crews found a mulch pile burning, and the fire was spreading to a pile of unprocessed logs, fire officials said.

However, company officials assisted firefighters in "utilizing on-site heavy equipment to put out the fire," officials said.
The fire was controlled and put out by 6:30 a.m.
