Firefighters Battle Early Morning Fire At Falmouth Home

FALMOUTH, MA — A two-alarm fire at a home on Sycamore Street was brought under control Tuesday morning. Firefighters arrived at the scene to find heavy smoke and fire showing from the two-story home.

Crews came across a "stubborn fire traveling throughout many concealed spaces," the Falmouth Fire and Rescue Department said in a statement. The blaze was brought under control after about 45 minutes.

There were no injuries, and the home was unoccupied at the time. The fire is believed to be accidental, according to the department.
