The facility features a large, secure outdoor play area with age-appropriate equipment. Children spend plenty of time outdoors, engaging in physical play and exploring nature. There may also be gardening activities. The building is designed with child safety in mind, featuring soft corners, non-toxic materials, and secure fencing around outdoor areas. Access points are monitored and locked to ensure only authorized individuals can enter. There’s a first aid kit and trained staff on hand at all times to handle any emergencies. The classrooms and play areas are spotless, with an abundance of natural light streaming in through large windows. The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children. There’s a cozy reading nook, art stations, and sensory play areas where kids can explore their creativity. Our staff is certified in child development, first aid, and CPR, but they also have a genuine passion for working with children. WAREHAM, MA — A Wareham woman was sentenced to 10 years in prison for raping a student, Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz announced Tuesday. Valerie Perry, 46, sexually assaulted the male victim while she was an arts teacher at a now-closed Middleborough school.  She was arrested after the victim came forward in December 2014 and told police she raped him on multiple occasions. Police said one incident happened at her home and another in her vehicle.        Prosecutors recommended she serve 10-12 years in state prison. Plymouth County Superior Court Judge Gary Nickerson sentenced her to 10 years and one day in state prison.  Photo: Shutterstock
