FALMOUTH, MA — "Glass Onion" is far from a common term, but there are a few meanings, particularly for folks on Cape Cod.

But, recently, the term has taken on a new meaning thanks to the "Knives Out" series and director Rian Johnson. Johnson, for his part, came to realize that there are a number of restaurants that share the name of his new film, and that he owes this a small apology — or at least a shoutout.

In Falmouth, the Glass Onion eatery is one of the businesses receiving that shoutout from Johnson on Twitter.

"Wanna give some love to some wonderfully named small businesses whose google results we’ve messed up for the past few months," Rian said.

"The Glass Onion in Falmouth Massachusetts has a delicious looking menu, if you’re visiting Cape Cod stop by," he added.

"Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery", is a sequel to the original film "Knives Out". The sequel is set to premiere on Netflix on Dec. 23.
