Gosnold Eyeing Site Next To Falmouth School
The addiction treatment organization's move to the former nursing home would nearly double its beds.
FALMOUTH, MA – Addiction treatment organization Gosnold Inc. is looking to relocate its Falmouth facility from Ter Huen Drive to the site of a former nursing home on Jones Road, according to the Cape Cod Times. The property is located next to the Morse Pond School, which the organization will discuss at a public meeting next week.
The facility would contain 99 beds, nearly double the 49 beds offered at its current location, the Times reported. Gosnold would use 54 beds for detox, 15 for short-term inpatient services and 30 for adults with concurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.
The company wants to address parents' concerns before taking the proposal to the town boards.
