Gun Fired Into Falmouth Home Sparks Police Investigation

Multiple people were inside a Brick Kiln Road home when shots were fired into it over the weekend, but no one was hurt.

FALMOUTH, MA — Local police are investigating after a Falmouth residence was hit with gunfire on Friday evening.

On Friday at 8:55 p.m., the Falmouth Police Department responded to 39 Brick Kiln Rd. for the report of gunshots being fired into the residence. Upon arrival, officers confirmed that multiple shots had been fired into the home.

The home was occupied by several people at the time, but there were no injuries reported.

An investigation is being conducted by the Falmouth Police Detective Bureau, Patrol Division and the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

A preliminary investigation has revealed that this incident appears to be isolated and there is no danger to the public.
