How To Dispose Of Your Christmas Tree In Falmouth

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth doesn't have curbside pickup for Christmas trees, but the town will still take the tree off your hands if you bring it to the compost facility. All tree can be dropped off at the facility at 565 Blacksmith Shop Road. The compost facility's hours are 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

As for other festive decorations, you get rid of Christmas lights by recycling them at the town's waste management facility. Waste management will break down the lights and recycle the metal. The facility at 458 Thomas B. Landers Road will accept lights until Jan. 25, 2020.
