How to Upload Photos, Videos from the 2013 Falmouth Road Race

Sunday, Aug. 11, marks the annual Falmouth Road Race, and attendees from the Falmouth area and beyond will be ready to cheer on their favorite runners.

This weekend also marks the annual Cochary High School Mile and the Falmouth Mile, both of which take place on Saturday at Falmouth High School.

So, how do you upload your best photos and videos from this weekend’s events to Falmouth Patch? We've laid out a quick how-to guide below. And don't forget, you can also post to Falmouth Patch directly from the Patch App, which can be downloaded from the iTunes App Store.

1) Log in to your free account at Falmouth Patch (or use your Facebook account).

2) Post a note in our Boards section: http://Falmouth.patch.com/boards

3) Choose Announcements or Speak Out as the main board.

4) Enter your headline, article text and add your photos or videos.

• Writing Tips: Don't use all caps - Studies show that readers don't click on posts that are written in all capital letters. Do capitalize the first letter of each word in the headline only.  

5) Click "Post Now" at the end of the form. Your article is automatically approved and immediately posted on the site.

6) Tell all your friends to check out your post on Falmouth Patch!
